Traditionally, the floral arrangements and funeral decorations are arranged directly by the family of the deceased. These are the flowers that drape the upper part of the coffin, for example, or the decorations placed in the church or at the place chosen for the ceremony. The flowers, however, can also be sent by less close relatives, friends, or even simple acquaintances eager to express support and closeness by means of a small gesture.
In all cases, the purpose of flowers and funeral decorations in general is to celebrate the affection felt for the missing person. Whether the arrangement of flowers and decorations is formal or informal, classical or bespoke, the goal is always to provide comfort and help raise the spirit of the family and friends of the deceased attending the ceremony.
